Apples long awaited rumor.

Apple has been crushing Samsung with their innovations and tech domination through the past 10 years with the launch of the iPod, the iPhone and the iPad. For the first time since the iPod was created, Apple seemed to be behind in the new smartwatch market.

Samsung released their smartwatch more than a year before Apple release their’s. Is there a reason why Apple waited this long? Was Apple worried of entering an undiscovered market?

Or, were they holding up for something bigger?

After months of hints and speculations, Apple has finally joined the battle for your wrist with its new Apple product. On September 9, 2014, Apple finally revealed its long-rumoured SmartWatch, the Apple Watch, aka Watch. While many expected the wearable to be called the “iWatch,” Apple actually opted to use the Apple symbol () followed by “Watch” for the device’s name.
